This Cookie Policy explains how the AVGusto website (avgusto.app) uses cookies and similar browser storage. In short: we keep it minimal. The website sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share browsing data.

Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Related technologies — such as “local storage” — let a site remember small preferences on your device. Both can be either strictly necessary, functional, or used for analytics and advertising.

The AVGusto marketing site uses only essential, first-party functional storage:

• Theme preference: we save your light/dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage (key “avgusto-theme”) so the site remembers it on your next visit. This is functional only — it sets no identifier and is never used for tracking.

Our fonts are self-hosted at build time, so loading the site does not send requests to, or set cookies from, third-party font providers.

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No cross-site or cross-app tracking.
• No third-party analytics cookies are set on the website today. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

The AVGusto mobile app does not use web cookies. It stores data locally on your device (for example using AsyncStorage and secure storage) and syncs to Firebase as described in our Privacy Policy. Advertising in the app is limited to opt-in rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob, which may use a device advertising identifier rather than cookies.

You can clear or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings, and you can reset your device advertising identifier in your phone’s settings. Clearing the website’s local storage simply means your theme preference will reset to the system default on your next visit.
